Core principles
Advertising should be lawful, accurate, suitable for the venue and respectful of the people who may see it. Mattr and screen owners can reject content even where it is otherwise legal.
Prohibited content
Content must not promote illegal goods or services, explicit sexual content, hate or harassment, dangerous weapons, illicit drugs, fraudulent schemes, malicious software or content that unlawfully discriminates against protected groups.
Restricted categories
Certain categories may be restricted or require additional review, including alcohol, gambling, financial products, healthcare claims, political or issue advertising, age-restricted products and other regulated sectors. Availability may differ by venue and jurisdiction.
Claims and substantiation
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring prices, comparisons, environmental claims, health claims, offers and endorsements are accurate, current and supported where required.
Venue suitability
A screen owner may block direct competitors, unsuitable categories or creative that conflicts with the nature of the venue. A campaign accepted on one screen is not automatically accepted on every screen.
Creative quality
Mattr may reject creative that is illegible, technically unsuitable, misleadingly designed, excessively flashing or otherwise likely to create a poor or unsafe screen experience.
Enforcement
Mattr may pause, reject or remove content, suspend a campaign or account, and cooperate with lawful requests where necessary. Serious or repeated breaches may result in termination.
