Who we are
Mattr operates the Mattr website, screen-management service and advertising marketplace. Before launch, this policy should be updated with the full legal name, company number and registered office of the data controller.
Privacy questions can be sent to hello@mattr.network.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Mattr, we may collect account and contact details, business and venue details, screen/device identifiers, campaign information, creative assets, billing records, support messages, service logs and website usage information.
We do not need the private content of a business dashboard in order to sell advertising inventory. Access to connected services should be limited to what is necessary to provide the feature requested.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, pair and manage screens, deliver campaigns, calculate eligible advertising revenue, process billing and payouts, provide support, prevent fraud, improve the product and comply with legal obligations.
Lawful bases
Where UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations and consent where required, for example for certain marketing or non-essential cookies.
Who we share information with
We may use carefully selected service providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, customer support and security. Advertisers and screen owners receive only the information reasonably needed to operate campaigns, placements and reporting.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described, contractual record keeping, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal requirements. We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect account and service data.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where UK data protection law applies.
Cookies and analytics
See the Cookie Policy for information about website storage, analytics and consent.
